To quote Dshcook during a recent interview at his studios in SW Michigan, David said "I have a passion. It was not my own. I have a calling. I ran from it for many years. In fact, most of my life. Running gets you nowhere and takes you places you should have never been. Am I like you? Are you like me? I stopped running. I turned. I turned and faced my flesh. I do not like my flesh. I had to face it; but I did not have to face it alone. You were always there. Now I see. My Savior, my God."

Dshcook is a Christian music artist based in SW Michigan. A singer, songwriter, producer and engineer for many years. David has penned many songs throughout his on and off again music career although not for the Lord. This all changed in 2005. Since then David has been involved in worship teams at several churches spanning across several states where he was also working as an Independent contractor in the IT space. Currently, David is heavily involved in Worship activities at two different churches where he regularly contributes and sometimes leads. His pursuit for something more, has David constantly working in his studio writing, arranging and producing his own music for the Lord, while assisting other artists and bands.
